Auxiliary
The Carlinville Area Hospital Auxiliary is one of the largest service groups in Macoupin County, with approximately 100 members. Our membership is diverse, containing a mixture of ages, men and women, occupations, and backgrounds. What our members have in common is as desire to reserve some other their to help the hospital and the community.
One of the primary functions is raising funds for the hospital equipment, building modernization and special services that make patients' hospital stays more comfortable and enjoyable. Proceeds from our fund raising efforts have purchased Lifeline ® equipment, patient room televisions, and a Medical Records transcription system. Since 1953 the Auxiliary has raised more than $175,000 for the hospital.
Not only do Auxilians provide a service to the hospital and its patients, but we believe our service makes our community a better place to by fostering local pride.
