This position is part of CAH succession plan which calls for a temporary position which could lead to Director of Laboratory. Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology program. They will also be board registered or eligible for registry as a medical technologist with ASCP, NCA, or HEW. Qualified candidate will also have 3-5 years experience as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist and be proficient in all departments with the exception of Histology and Cytology. Prior supervisory experience a plus. Must have exceptional patient care skills as well as customer service skills. Must adhere to Carlinville Area Hospital's "Standards of Excellence." The position will work mostly days but will have to be flexible to work any shift when needed to fill staffing gaps.
Qualified candidate must be a graduate of a 4-year Medical Technologist program or a 2-year Medical Laboratory Technician program and certified with ASCP, HEW or NCA accredited. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years generalist experience. Must have exceptional patient care skills as well as customer service skills. Must adhere to Carlinville Area Hospital's "Standards of Excellence."
Must posses a current IL RN licensure with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations in good standing. Must have exceptional patient care skills as well as customer service skills. Must adhere to Carlinville Area Hospital's "Standards of Excellence." This position is full-time, night shift, which is 3 shifts (36 hours) per week. The position does come with full benefits including health insurance, life insurance, 401k, paid vacation, sick time, and paid holidays.
