September - 2010New Specialist at Carlinville Area Hospital's Specialty Clinic
Richard E. Brown, M.D., a specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery including aesthetic surgery, breast surgery (augmentation, reduction, reconstruction), general reconstructive surgery and minor burn surgery, recently joined Carlinville Area Hospital’s Consulting Medical Staff. Dr. Brown will be available on the first and third Wednesdays of each month to see patients in the hospital’s Specialty Clinic. He is affiliated with Springfield Clinic and he has a special interest in hand surgery.
Dr. Brown received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria. He completed his General Surgery prerequisite at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He has completed a fellowship in Hand Surgery at Hartford, Connecticut Aesthetic.
