Medical Records Department
The Certified Coding Associate is a full time, non-exempt position that is responsible for accurate coding of Outpatient clinic visits, including appropriate CPT/HCPC and ICD-10 selection, working from the appropriate documentation in the health record of the patient.
Requirements:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school certificate; or equivalent experience.
Certificate in Certified Coding Specialist-Physician or Certified Professional Coder; or obtain certification within one year of employment
