Mary Beck, APN, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 from McKendree University. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at Maryville University in 2017. Youssef El Bitar, MD

Orthopedics and Sport’s Medicine
Dr. El Bitar completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (2015). He also completed a spine fellowship at SIU School of Medicine (2014), a hip preservation fellowship at the American Hip Institute in Westmont, Ill. (2013) and an adult reconstruction fellowship at SIU School of Medicine (2012). Dr. El Bitar completed an orthopedic residency at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon (2011), where he also earned his medical and bachelor’s degrees. Before joining SIU HealthCare, Dr. El Bitar worked as a team physician for the University of Iowa’s football team, the Hawkeyes.

Muhammad F. Khan, MD

Muhammad Khan, MD, received his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, and then completed his residency in internal medicine at State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Khan completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital followed by fellowships in interventional cardiology and structural heart disease at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.
Dr. Khan is currently board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Lausen completed his family medicine residency at SIU-Springfield (2003) after earning his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (2000). Wayne Blevins, Jr., originally from Dorchester, IL, graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Health Science Physician Assistant degree in 1991. Wayne has been a member of the Florida Academy of physician Assistants serving as President for one year and serving as the Legislative and Government Affairs Chairman for two years. Wayne has been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants serving two years on the House of Delegates Committee.

Cissy Bloomfield, APRN

Cissy has been a nurse for nearly 25 years and graduated in October as an APRN, with a specialty in family nurse practice. She started out as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and attended Capital Area School of Nursing in Springfield; then she went to Lewis and Clark Community College, receiving her RN license with an associate’s degree. She then went to Chamberlain College of Nursing, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Bloomfield has two sons, ages 22 and 18, and two grandsons, ages 2 and 1. She enjoys camping, gardening and riding bicycles (including in races).

Ruth Holley, APRN, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, works alongside Dr. Thomas Hatley as a provider in the CAH&C Walk-In Clinic. Ruth received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005, master’s in nursing education from McKendree College in 2007, and post-master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2015, where she also served as faculty for the SIUE nursing program.

Debbie specializes in women’s health and early prevention. She serves as a Hospitalist where she cares for inpatients

Originally from Gillespie, IL, Hollie received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002 from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. She obtained her post-graduate certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Maryville University in St. Louis, MO in 2014. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Hollie’s interests include women’s health, preventative health and diabetes management.
