Behavioral Health Receptionist
Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Receptionist performs assigned secretarial/clerical duties for outpatient behavioral health services. Also completes prior authorization process for insurance/billing purposes.

Status: Full-Time; 40 hours per week; Non-Exempt; Days
Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 / hour
Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED
Competencies and Skills:
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Use of Electronic Medical Records system
- Basic knowledge of Human Behavior
- CRP and CPI certifications or willingness to obtain within 6 months

Behavioral Health Therapist
Position Summary:
The Behavioral Health Therapist provides compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health services to support the mental and emotional well-being of patients across the hospital and community. This position works collaboratively with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver therapeutic interventions, coordinate care, and promote positive patient outcomes through assessment, counseling, education, and discharge planning.
Status: Full Time Days Monday - Friday, Non-Exempt
Market Range: $28.00 - $46.00 / hour depending on applicable licensure, certification and years of relevant experience.
Education
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health field
- Previous clinical experience in behavioral health preferred
- Experience working with geriatric or adult populations preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Current Illinois LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent licensure required (or ability to obtain within designated timeframe)
- Current BLS certification required or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
Competencies and Skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide individual and group therapeutic interventions
- Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare environment
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, safety, and professional ethics
