LPN / ED Tech - Emergency Department
Position Summary:
The LPN / ED Tech provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent, and disabled persons in a hospital by performing their duties under the direction of a professional registered nurse.
Department: Emergency Department
Status: Full-Time (36 hours per week); Day Shift; 12-Hour Shifts; Rotating Weekends
Pay Range: $20 - $30 / hour
Position Requirements:
LPN - Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing; Successfully completed IV therapy certification; Current IL Nursing License. Full Benefit Overview: Click Here
ED Tech - High school Diploma or GED; experience in patient care related field; one of the following licenses or certifications: EMT (preferred), CNA, MA or Student Nurse Full Benefit Overview: Click Here
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP or willingness to obtain

PRN - Patient Companion
Position Summary:
The Patient Companion provides continuous observation of assigned patient in the ED and throughout various hospital departments. The ideal candidate must be able to concisely and effectively communicate with the assigned patient along with the health care team. This is a PRN position and as such will be on an as needed basis - shifts will vary based on necessity.

Status: PRN - As Needed; Day and Night Shifts available
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current IL CNA preferred.
- Current CPR or willingness to obtain.
