Biography:

Tawny Thomas is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and provides care to pediatric patients. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner in primary care pediatrics, hospital medicine, convenient care and family practice. Additionally, she has volunteered as part of medical mission teams to Guatemala and Honduras providing care to remote populations of patients of all ages. Tawny sees patients at Gillespie pediatrics. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and American Nurses Association.
