Behavioral Health Therapist

Position Summary:

The Behavioral Health Therapist provides compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health services to support the mental and emotional well-being of patients across the hospital and community. Education

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related Behavioral Health field
  • Previous clinical experience in behavioral health preferred
  • Experience working with geriatric or adult populations preferred

Licensure/Certification

  • Current Illinois LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent licensure required (or ability to obtain within designated timeframe)
  • Current BLS certification required or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse in our Advanced Care Unit provides nursing care to the adolescent, adult or geriatric patients of the Medical/Surgical Department. This nurse has particular assignment to the advanced care beds, but may also care for acute, observation, and swingbed patients. This care is based on the assessment of the patient’s subjective and objective health care needs, coordinating and prioritizing the nursing care plan with the medical regime established by the physician or provider.
